Falls Church Stands Pat

Here's a story that may interest readers: the Falls Church Planning Commission recently rejected a development plan involving affordable housing on the basis of possible problems with parking.

In doing so, they stood out against supposedly "unyielding timelines" which the non-profit Falls Church Housing Corporation said it was facing in attaining approval in time to apply for state tax credits.

If readers recall, our Planning Commission and Council rubber stamped the James Bland Redevelopment without the parking issues being resolved.
