The AM Report

Here's a compilation of local crimes from the last few days of eNews. Enjoy!

ROBBERY:

200 block of North Washington Street 10/02 between 10:00 p.m. and 10:10 p.m. The victim, a 22-year-old Alexandria man, was at a bus stop when two suspects approached him. One suspect displayed a knife and demanded money and the second suspect removed the victim’s wallet from his pocket. Both suspects then fled and were last seen running east on Queen Street. The victim was not injured. The suspect with the knife is described as a white Hispanic male with a thin mustache, 25, 5'2"-5'3", 160 pounds, and wearing a blue t-shirt and black pants. The second suspect is described as a black male, 25, wearing a hooded black shirt and blue jeans.

BRANDISHING:

600 block of North Alfred Street 10/02 11:00 p.m. The victim, a 45-year-old Alexandria man, was approached by the suspect, who was on a bicycle. The suspect displayed a small pistol and spoke to the victim. When the victim indicated that he was calling the police, the suspect left the area. Suspect is described as a black male in his late teens to early 20s, 6'00" - 6'02", 180 lbs., medium build, medium complexion, some facial hair, wearing dark-colored jeans and a charcoal sweatshirt.

BURGLARY:

1300 block of Wythe Street 09/29 7:45 a.m. - 10/01 4:45 a.m. Someone gained entry to the residence by undetermined means. Once inside, the suspect ransacked some rooms but did not take anything.
