The Growler has obtained a copy of the infamous Resolution 830 from the City Clerk. Incredibly, this resolution was passed nearly 25 years ago in 1982 and has not been revisited despite all of the economic and social changes in Alexandria over a quarter century.
Also for your reading pleasure, the Growler has scanned the 1999 Fair Share Task Force report to City Council. (Warning: this is a 16MB .pdf file.)
And for you number crunchers, here is a spreadsheet developed by Planning & Zoning listing the location and quantity of public housing units in Alexandria. This is a little out of date, since it refers to Samuel Madden Downtown instead of Chatham Square and doesn't appear to include the sites where half of the Samuel Madden residents were dispersed. But it's the best one can do, given that ARHA has no Web site. Yet.
